M.O.D.A. (The Members of Designing Arts) currently has over 100 members and is the largest CVAD organization on campus. Every year, we create the largest fashion show on campus with over 500 guests and 150 participants! Our fashion show is call Fashion at the Fountains and is located at the Library Mall in front of Willis Library.
M.O.D.A. is a special interest club for students interested in anything surrounding the idea of fashion. Many of our members are interested in merchandising, design, photography, business, and modeling and come from an array of different majors. We have fun events throughout the school year such as a fashion show, guest speakers, movie showings, and demonstrations.
The objectives of MODA are as follows:
a. To promote interest in all aspects of fashion including: design, photography, merchandising, advertising, and fashion show production.
b. To provide fellowship among students and faculty.
c. To provide a forum for the presentation of innovative ideas to the benefit of the University of North Texas community.
d. To provide students opportunities to give back to the community.
e. To promote an interest in networking.
