Because at UNT, we really do Mean Green

Welcome to a new school year!

We have lots of activities and events planned throughout the year so come get involved and learn green living skills!  From green cleaning to vermiculture to recycling at football games to bicycle safety and rides there are many ways to get involved!  The next meeting is Tuesday, September 6th in the Environmental Science room 110 at 6pm.  Please come out and bring a friend!

We are also actively seeking both returning members and newbies to become Officers in the organization!  If you are interested either let Erin Chalkley or Alba Torres know at a meeting or through email and we will have elections shortly into the semester. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on your campus, learn leadership skills, and build your resume!

Our Mission

Welcome to the North Texas Energy & Environment Club (NTEEC). We are a student-led group at the University of North Texas. On campus, we help promote events and activities to increase university education in energy and environmental sustainability.

In the North Texas region, we act to increase community education by providing a network of knowledge and market enrichment in climate change, energy development, and natural resource sustainability.

Meetings are every Tuesday evening at 6pm in room 130 of the Environmental Science Building on campus. Meetings for the Fall 2010 Semester begin Tuesday, August 31st. We will be making green cleaning supplies, bring a couple bucks (to help cover costs) and take your own hand made sample home!
