I love engaging people in conversations, changing perceptions, and initiating change. Born and raised Texan, fan of Linkin Park, and a lover of cats. Viral Media is something I am becomeing more and more interested in, and I am finding a balance between the city girl in me and the homesteader I am becoming.

History

Founded in 1999, Students for a Sustainable Campus (SSC) formed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability at the University of North Texas. In 2008, students joined forces to create the North Texas Energy & Environment Club (NTEEC)to broaden the scope of SSC and promote efforts to encompass North Texas regional businesses, governments, and non-profit groups.

NTEEC promotes initiatives from the Office of Sustainability, Sustainability Council, and Student Development Sustainability Group. We host energy and environment fairs, conduct workshops, attend relative events, promote 'We Mean Green' initiatives, and encourage students to think about their daily energy habits and environmental impacts.
