About Erin
Currently I am a Junior at the University of North Texas pursuing a degree in Home Furnishings Merchandising with the goal of one day making and repurposing furniture. Giving new life to used items is a passion of mine coming from the environmentalist in me. I connect with this passion by leading the North Texas Energy and Environment Club with the hopes of fostering the same passion in others. Outside of this I work at UNT on the Square and the Provost Office as a student assistant working and planning events. The concept of spare time is foreign but being perpetually busy keeps me sane!

About alba

History

Founded in 1999, Students for a Sustainable Campus (SSC) formed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability at the University of North Texas. In 2008, students joined forces to create the North Texas Energy & Environment Club (NTEEC)to broaden the scope of SSC and promote efforts to encompass North Texas regional businesses, governments, and non-profit groups.

NTEEC promotes initiatives from the Office of Sustainability, Sustainability Council, and Student Development Sustainability Group. We host energy and environment fairs, conduct workshops, attend relative events, promote 'We Mean Green' initiatives, and encourage students to think about their daily energy habits and environmental impacts.
