Come out and voice your concerns about the environmental effects of burning coal; coal ash.
Right now communities across the country are exposed to heavy metals such as arsenic, lead and mercury when hazardous materials from coal ash disposal sites seep into our drinking water. The result-- increased risk of cancer, learning disabilities, birth defects and other illnesses.
You can sign up to voice your concern directly to the EPA at the hearings or show up, learn some, and show support with your presence.

Name: Green Drinks Dallas Screening of Tapped

Dallas Green Drinks, a networking group for eco-minded folks, is screening Tapped at their September meeting. Before the screening a panel of renowned local water experts will be discussing water issues, and after the film local eco-conscious companies and organizations will share information about their work.
The DART Green line can be taken to the event.
