Hello,

My name is Troy Warren and I am the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) President for the 2017 Spring and Fall Semesters. As an Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management (OBHR) major, my primary goal at UNT is to inform students about the HR world and how it can easily benefit them both in and after their collegiate careers. I currently work as an HR Intern at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services until my Graduation in December '17.

About Victor
Hello, I'm Victor! I'm Vice President for UNT SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). My objective is to serve the needs of all of our officers and team members. My focus at UNT is OBHRM (Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management). I will graduate in May 2018. I am also a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Management. I'm passionate about learning more about Human Resources to help people succeed in their personal and professional lives. I enjoy rock climbing, running, reading business books, cultivating relationships, and traveling.


Julie Hancock - Faculty Advisor

About Julie
Dr. Hancock graduated with her Ph.D. in Business Administration in August of 2012. Prior to graduate school, she worked in marketing at an insurance agency specializing in podiatric and chiropractic malpractice insurance, as well as professional liability insurance for CPAs and attorneys. In addition to teaching, she is also actively engaged in research and has published her work on employee turnover behavior in academic journals such as Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and the Journal of Management. Dr. Hancock also conducts research on the influences of pro-social rule-breaking behavior on managerial perceptions (published in the Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal), how organizational climate influences pro-social rule-breaking behaviors (published in the Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management), and various antecedents and outcomes of perceived organizational support (published in Human Relations).

Hello, my name is Destini Westfall. I am the Director of SHRM Merit for the UNT chapter for Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). I am currently a junior majoring in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management (OBHRM). I am also an active volunteer in a number of Humane societies and enjoy volunteering with animals.
