Membership Requirements
- Atend the first meeting of the semester. (Scheduled on the second Saturday of each semester, at 6:00pm)
Reason: The first meeting of the semester is when most of the planning takes place. Members are offered the opportunity to provide input, assume responsibilities, and assist in scheduling activities.
- Attend at least 5 events.
Reason: We need members who are dedicated, motivated and willing to make a change in the community. Our goal is for our organization to become the most active, the most prestigious and the most attractive to students on campus. We have the support of so many staff members, and it is up to us to run the most successful organization at UNT. Some activities are designed for us to have some fun while getting to know each other better and creating stronger friendships. Other events will provide us with the opportunity to expand our knowledge and interact with distinguished guest speakers who will address a variety of topics related to diversity and to our personal and professional development.
TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED IF NEEDED
- $5 / semester membership fee.
Reason: This fee is necessary to fund a variety of activities we plan throughout the semester. We would truly appreciate it if everyone could contribute this small amount to ensure successful events. Additional donations would be appreciated, if students choose to contribute more to the organization's funds.
